We hope that this guide will answer some of our most frequently asked questions, but please don't hesitate to ask if you are still unsure. Select your room size •   First step is to select the size of storage unit which will best fit your needs. •   All the rooms are identical in build. •   All ground floor - no lifts or stairs to drag the sofa up! •   1 metre wide doors for easy access - our largest rooms have double doors •   Steel construction with security mesh roofs •   Dual hasp security bolt •   As close to square as possible - every inch of space can be utilised. •   25, 50, 75, 100, 150 or 200 square feet. Security This is the foundation of our business and we take it very seriously. Every inch of the building is protected by digital CCTV. Our state of the art alarm system is monitored 24 hours a day and is linked directly to the police. But all of this would be for nothing if we didn't take care who we allow access to. Therefore we're sure that you will understand our security procedures for vetting new customers: •   You will need to supply two forms of ID - one proving identity and one proving address •   A photo will be taken of all new customers and stored with their customer records •   Specimen signatures are taken for all persons to be allowed access to your unit Moving In We can't do your removal for you but we can put you in touch with some local removals companies if you wish. Alternatively if you do it yourself we are set up to make it as easy as possible. Sack trucks and trolleys are available for your free use. We'll even supply a fork lift if you need it! All rooms are ground floor which believe us you'll appreciate on moving day. Our large yard provides ample space to park and unload your vehicles - you can even back your car right into the building if our lovely English weather is trying its best to ruin your day. What can be stored? Just about anything but there are some notable exceptions, which we have to insist you adhere to. Therefore NO food, living creatures, combustible or flammable material, firearms, explosives, chemicals, compressed gases, illegal substances. Payment We can accept most credit and debit cards. Cheques are also fine. Unfortunately we are not permitted to take cash for unit rentals. How much does it cost ? We quote our rental charges on a weekly basis but your actual charge will be calculated to the day subject to a minimum of two weeks. When you start your rental you will be charged 4 weeks rent as a fully refundable deposit, plus the number of days left until the end of the month. On the first of each month you will need to pay us for the coming month. An invoice will be sent well in advance of the due date. When you want to leave, just tell us and we will refund your deposit plus any unused days you've already paid for. No notice needed. VAT There is no VAT to pay on storage with us. Padlock To secure your unit you will need to lock it with a padlock . These are available in our shop or feel free to supply your own. Insurance Although we take every care to ensure that your goods are well protected there is always that small risk that something could go wrong. We therefore insist that your goods are insured whilst in storage with us. You may well find that your home insurance covers it, in which case just bring us proof this is the case. Alternatively we can add you to our insurance policy. Ask for details. Whichever option you choose you will need to tell us the value of the goods you are storing for insurance purposes. Packaging materials We can provide all the packaging materials you are likely to need. Our removals boxes are supplied by our sister company, Clifton Case Co Ltd, who have been supplying boxes to the professionals since the 1930s. You'll therefore find our prices are MUCH lower than at other storage facilities and our product is the same excellent quality as used by removal companies throughout the Midlands. Packaging materials are available for home delivery via our website qualitybox.com Opening Hours Our opening hours are subject to change based on demand, but as a minimum we will be open Monday to Friday 9 am - 5.30pm Saturday 9:00 am - 1:00pm You have unlimited free access to your unit during these opening hours.
